John Farmer

Founder

John Farmer originally held his Series 6 and 63 securities licenses, in addition to those for life and health insurance, but found that he didn’t like the volatility of the market and the resulting exposure his clients experienced.

“My goal is to provide clients and their families with peace of mind,” he says. “There is no one ‘best place’ to put your retirement money because each client has unique requirements, different tolerances for risk and needs their money at different times. Far too many people have all their retirement money in the market and exposed to the risk of principal loss. In order to make sure your money is in the best place for you, your unique circumstances must be taken into consideration. This is where we can be of service.”

Elaine Farmer

Director of Client Services/Licensed Agent

Elaine was an orthodontic dental technician for over 23 years. She became highly skilled in Client Services, working with patients daily. Elaine and John met and married in 1993. In 1994 she left her orthodontics position and joined John at Farmer & Associates.

Elaine is responsible for the behind the scenes operations. She manages John’s appointment scheduling, the CRM system, annual follow ups, compliance issues, applications submission and the Retirement Analyzer Seminar program.

She brought the years of Client Services experience to Farmer & Associates. She works with and trains new agents and assists current agents as issues arise.

John N. Nanni, CFP®

Certified Financial Planner

John N. Nanni has more than 15 years experience in helping individuals with their Medicare decision. John’s process includes an informal, one-on-one meeting with you where he will review with you your rights, options, and entitlements regarding Medicare. He will go over the plusses and minuses of each choice that you have within the Medicare program, how to enroll, when you can enroll, the costs, coverage, and your prescription drug insurance options.

John makes Medicare very easy to understand, and, at the end of your meeting, he will give you some advice. What you do with the advice is always up to you.

Early Stage Planning

For young families, we set up policies to help protect against potential catastrophic loss. Then we create a systematic plan for them to save for college expenses and retirement. Through the years, their lives change and we adjust their plan to keep it current.

Retirement Planning

For clients nearing retirement, we focus on analyzing ways to make their funds last as long as they do. A typical retirement could last 30 years, and you only get one chance to plan your retirement, so avoiding mistakes is key.
Personal Approach

“I enjoy spending time with people and educating them about finances,” John says. “I study issues that affect my clients, so that I am their resource for questions about anything from wills and trusts to long-term care.
